Studio Rental – Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Purpose

The studio may be rented for:
• Dance classes
• Private lessons
• Rehearsals
• Photo/video shoots
• Small workshops or events
Any other use must be approved in writing by Ely Dance Studio.

 

2. Rental Duration

• Rentals must start and end at the agreed time.
• Extra time will be charged in 15-minute increments.
• Early access or late exit must be pre-approved.

 

3. Payment

• Full payment is required before the rental begins.
• A security deposit may be required depending on the event type.

 

4. Studio Rules

• No food or drinks on the dance floor (water only).
• No heels without heel protectors.
• No glitter, confetti, powder, or substances that may damage the floor.
• Sound system must be kept at a reasonable volume.
• The renter must return the studio in the same condition it was received.

 

5. Cleaning

• Renters must dispose of trash and leave the space clean.
• Additional cleaning fees will be applied if the space is left dirty or damaged.

 

6. Damages

• The renter is fully responsible for any damage to mirrors, speakers, floors, props, or studio equipment.
• Damages will be charged to the renter.

 

7. Safety

• Ely Dance Studio is not responsible for injuries or accidents during the rental.
• The renter is responsible for the safety of all guests and participants.

 

8. Liability & Waiver

• The renter agrees to indemnify and hold Ely Dance Studio harmless from any claims or actions resulting from the rental.

 

9. Capacity

• Studio occupancy limits must be followed according to building rules and fire code.

 

10. Decorations

• No tape, glue, staples, or adhesives on mirrors, walls, or floors.
• All decorations must be removed after the event.

 

11. Music & Noise

• Music volume must comply with building guidelines.
• No excessive noise in hallways or outside the studio.

 

12. Cancellation, Refunds & Rescheduling

Refund Eligibility

• No refund is available under any circumstances.
• Renters may reschedule one time only, at no cost ($0 fee).
• Reschedule request must be made before the rental start time.

 

No-Show Policy

❌ No-shows receive absolutely NO refund and NO rescheduling credit.
If the renter does not arrive within the scheduled rental time, the booking is automatically forfeited.

 

Late Arrivals

• Late arrival does not extend rental time.
• If additional time is needed and available, it will be charged separately.

 

Emergency Exceptions

• Severe weather or building-related issues (power outage, safety concerns) caused by the studio may qualify for a refund or reschedule at Ely Dance Studio’s discretion only.
